The REAL "Dirty Harry"

The Republican Convention had as it's surprise celebrity speaker the one time Academy Award-winning crotchety, mean OLD actor Clint Eastwood.
According to reports, Clint Eastwood’s performance was welcomed by the audience by laughing and clapping all throughout his rude and pathetic speech.
Eastwood's rude routine was one of the saddest things that I've ever seen in my life. It was not only insulting but he came across as that crotchety, mean OLD uncle that you hope never shows up at any of your family functions.
And this is what the Republican's called Inspiring.I think that he came across as sad and pathetic!

This is the REAL "Dirty Harry"

The Republican National Convention

The Republican National Convention in Tampa went on despite a number 2 category hurricane that threatened the entire area. Category 2 Hurricanes have wind speeds between 96-110 miles per hour and a water surge of up to6-8 feet
Upon watching the coverage of the convention, that all these republican folks seem to be so proud of  I couldn’t help but to notice an elaborate stage fully equipped with a debt clock and adorned with a sign that says "We built that." Of course that was a dig at our President and his statement that was taken out of context, and spun by the right-wing establishment, and thrown back in his face.
Very Charming. And another thing that I couldn’t help but notice was the crowd, it was a sea of white, except of course for a few token blacks scattered around. There were also no black speakers, again except for that Aunt Jemima Condi Rice who has become a Black Icon of the Republican party.  I failed to see any no blacks anywhere else.
There's a good explanation for that of course, the purpose of the convention being to formally nominate Mitt Romney who currently enjoys ZERO percent of the black vote. That's right, zero percent. Nada, None.
There's a bigger problem here than just that. Romney wasn't even going for the black vote, because he automatically assumed that they will ALL be voting for Barack Obama just because he is black. That's one reason African Americans are turned off by the Romney campaign and the Republican party in general, because they take the blacks for granted. but there are many others. The big part is the makeup of the party leadership. There are very few African Americans in leading roles. Yes I know about Michael Steele, who “WAS” the former head of the RNC, and Herman Cain another loser.. There are actually a fair but small number of black Republicans, just not in leadership positions.
Newt Gingrich also attacks President Obama with a racially charged attack by dubbing him the "Food Stamp President." The motivation behind this attack fits into the narrative that food stamps go to mostly lazy black people, which simply isn't true. There are simply more white people on food stamps than blacks, and not because either of us are lazy mind you, but because of the whole recession that nearly destroyed our economy. According to a recent report  the need for food assistance has increased 76% since the start of the great recession. A byproduct of millions of people losing their jobs.
Then there's the welfare ad, an homage back to the Welfare queen attacks by Ronald Reagan back in the 80's. Which is of course has been proven a blatant lie by every fact checker out there. Nonetheless the red meat thrown out there by the Republican establishment this election is just a continuation of the southern strategy that has worked well for the last 40 years.
We also have to take into account Romney's religion of Mormonism. Mormons believe that being black is a curse from god for Cains defiance. That the "Lamanites" (Sons of Cain) are not equal to that of white people. So one has to wonder if Romney himself believes that or not.  And lets not forget that incident in Texas, the one that I call the Murder of James Byrd, Jr.  I’m sure you all remember that incident in Texas where they dragged a block from the back of a truck until he was dead. And George Bush refused to invoke the death penalty to the murderers.
Now after saying all these things I have to keep it real. I know that not all White Republicans (& Mormons) are racist, I know that there are African Americans that believe in small government conservatism. I'm just pointing out how the current Republican racial dynamic is slanted towards trying to secure the racist white vote. This strategy is not only detestable, but it excludes an ever growing part of the population that would otherwise vote Republican.
I for one welcome diversity. We're all human beings after all. But unless the Republican Party finally abandons its racist southern strategy and begins to bring more diversity into the party,  the Republican party will become a minority party.

The Obama haters just won't quit!

The Haters will try any means possible to discredit him.
Imagine if President Obama only released one or two years of his tax returns. The Republicans would be saying he was covering up donations to ACORN or the Muslim Brotherhood.
And to all of the people who are calling President Obama a socialist and are taking a small portion of his comments out of context, why not read his entire statement, or at least another portion of it: "If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen."
He made it quite clear that he meant somebody else "helped."
The Obama-haters are using a brief portion of his comments because they need anything they can get in their efforts to put Romney in the White House. It is obvious to me the Republican’s actions is contrary to the teaching of Christ, they have become intolerance, spiteful and consume with hate and bigotry and may GOD help us if President Obama loses the election, and we have to deal with a Republican administration for the nexr 4-8 years at a time when our country is in such a mess.  A mess that George W. Bush put us in and left us with. It’s this kind of thinking that makes me sick and infuriates me. President Obama inherited an economy in free fall. Republicans voted lock-step against everything he proposed,.
I encourage people to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes before they demonstrate their clueless privilege by dismissing widely acknowledged and proven hurdles.  If the Republicans (Mitt Romney)  wins this election,  you will think you're living in Somalia!
The Republicans will stoop to anything. For them to hate Obama- what is required is for everyone to understand that these people are just not like the other party. They can and will stop at nothing. They can and will subvert democracy, use courts to steal elections, and will conspire with enemies of the United States in order to achieve power.

There are speculations that the shooter must be a right-winger.

What a farce this one sided right wing story is about the shooting in Colorado.
It only goes to show how Right-wing bloggers, talk radio hosts, and other conservative media outlets distorting the. facts and the truth.
And as for the shooting in Colorado there are millions of people that LEGITIMATELY think the shooter was a right-wing nut job. History has shown that most mass murderers are, especially in heated political climates. Perpetrated by the right-wing lies and propaganda of Fox News, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and other and Hate Radio talk shows, as well as the Tea-Party. The Tea Party members are the danger, and if they are not careful, they might even accidentally shoot themselves with all the guns they love to parade around with !

I would like to see a debate about this issue. These idiot's are a joke.
The democrats would wipe the conservatives all over the floor, if such a debate or debates occurred.
psychotic right-wingers are coddled and told that they're normal on Fox News and hate radio DOES NOT mean that the majority of rational Americans sit around and watch and listen to such right-wing propaganda garbage. Yes, the Tea Party IS violent. It makes OWS look like kindergarten. There's no left wing group that even COMPARES to the violence of the Tea Party and its nut job members. And yes, it was a natural assumption that the shooter might have been a Tea Party, right-wing, anti-government psycho. Nut job conservatives have nearly obliterated this nation, fortunately, THEY will be obliterated at the ballot box this November as America prepares for four more years of sensible, solid leadership from President Obama

PRESIDENT OBAMA is a born leader

I am a big supporter of PRESIDENT OBAMA; I mean who wouldn’t after listening to his campaign speech and other speeches. PRESIDENT OBAMA is a born leader!
President Barack Obama did not start out as a good leader, and he started by working as a community organizer. He later got his law degree and worked as a professor, teaching constitutional law, and even later still he served as part of the Illinois Senate for about seven years. After that he was a United States Senator for about a year before resigning to run for president. Obama had to work hard for many years before he could become the leader of the United States.

Why Isn't there ANY Mentionion Of Romney's Secret Billionaire Bash

We hear this and that on a daily basis about how President Obama gives Fund Raising dinners, but we never ever hear any news about Mitt Romney's Secret Billionaire Bashes!

When President Obama "hobnobs' with millionaires and billionaires in the homes of Clooney and other actors like Saeah Jessica Parker   while on the taxpayer dime, is it newsworthy to you.  Isn't it?

So let me expose a bit about Mitt Romney!

PARK CITY, Utah — It was the kind of image Mitt Romney has sought to blunt during his campaign for president: a prodigious display of wealth.

At a private retreat this weekend, major Romney campaign donors quaffed 1927 Port they'd brought in for the occasion, mingled in the lobby of a posh resort called the Chateaux at Silver Lake and watched an aerial display of Olympic ski jumpers.

Billed as a "senior leadership retreat," the three-day gathering in Deer Valley was a reward for the wealthy GOP donors who have fueled Romney's fundraising, giving at least $25,000 each or raising at least $100,000 by June 18. Many of the more than 700 who attended had donated much more.

The campaign is counting on these supporters to raise $500 million of its $800 million fundraising goal, according to one top fundraiser. The retreat is part of a meticulous effort by the campaign to keep its biggest supporters personally invested in the candidate as he hurtles toward November.

"They're our major investors," a senior Romney adviser said, declining to speak openly because of the campaign's desire for secrecy.

Romney hobnobs with mega-donors!

Romney surrogate John Sununu, the former New Hampshire governor, said the event was meant to cater to donors who "appreciate being kept in the process after they've written the check."
Sununu was among the speakers on the opening day of festivities Friday, which was capped by a cookout at Olympic Park. Donors dined on barbecue and salmon under a tent overlooking the site of the 2002 Winter Games' ski jumping contest, and were treated to an exhibition of synchronized skiers careening down steep ramps and doing flips in the air before landing in a pool. Romney, the donors did not need to be told, led the Utah Games.
Later, donors gathered at the lobby bar of the Chateaux, the stone ski lodge where many of the events took place. Romney's top advisers — including his rarely seen campaign manager, Matt Rhoades, huddled at a table in one corner while donors sipped cocktails at the copper-topped bar.
South Dakota Sen. John Thune, one of several potential vice presidential picks attending, mingled near Beth Myers, a longtime Romney confidante who is leading the search for the running mate. He demurred when asked about the possibility of landing on the ticket.
The retreat was closed to the media, in keeping with Romney's secrecy about who is raising money for his campaign. He has declined to release the names of bundlers, those who collect funds from others on behalf of the campaign. Romney was not seen in public except when he waved at reporters from his motorcade.
It was a busy weekend for top conservative donors. In addition to Romney's retreat, the billionaire Koch brothers were hosting a private gathering in Carlsbad for wealthy political givers. And the Republican Jewish Coalition — whose board includes casino magnate Sheldon Adelson and other top GOP money men — is having its summer bash at a Beverly Hills hotel Sunday.
Donor getaways have increasingly become the norm in presidential fundraising, as campaigns take cues from similar retreats in the corporate and academic worlds.
Donors described hearing repeatedly from Romney and his wife, Ann, who hosted a women's tea Saturday. Top Republicans, including Sen. John McCain, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Rep. Paul D. Ryan of Wisconsin also addressed the group. Rice's speech on Saturday got rave reviews.
Donors chose from policy panels on matters such as Israel, health care and the financial industry headlined by prominent Republicans such as Hewlett-Packard chief and failed California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman and strategist Karl Rove.
Rove helped found American Crossroads, a super PAC that cannot coordinate its message strategy with Romney's campaign but can collaborate on fundraising. Its sister nonprofit, Crossroads GPS, has already spent millions assailing President Barack Obama's record.
Speakers were chauffeured to events in golf carts, as a Democrat charged with tracking their activities watched from the side of the road. A corporate jet registered in the care of Bain Capital, the private equity firm Romney once headed, was spotted at a nearby private airport.
The weekend was to wrap up Sunday, one donor said, with a round of golf at Red Ledges, a private Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course that was named the best new course in the country in 2009.

Well now you know!
